Keepers’ Retreat (sleeps 6)
Keepers’ Retreat is very popular, it is often described in our guest book as "a real home from home with every possible accessory".
Bedroom
The first of the three bedrooms is a bright, cheerful room offering the choice of super-king or twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. The second bedroom also has a choice of super-king or twin beds, with a large en-suite shower room. Both of these rooms having ample room for a camp-bed and cot. The third bedroom is a lovely double room furnished with antiques, with en-suite bathroom.
Dinner for 12
The kitchen is well-equipped with an Aga, electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a farmhouse kitchen table, which seats six to eight. For special events, you can pre-book the adjoining dining room. Cater for yourselves or let our in-house caterers prepare a special dinner party for between 10 & 12 guests.
Sitting by the fire
Keepers’ Retreat is ideal for family gatherings - it is very spacious and lends itself to entertaining large groups when used as the hub of the lets. Additional members of the party can stay in our other accommodation. It is such a homely place, and after a long day visiting the colleges in Oxford, or the villages in the Cotswolds, it is great to just sit and relax by the fire in the evening.
